Intuit Motion Design
Motion-first design thinking is essential to building products that delight, guide, and empathize with customers. Motion with purpose and UX choreography are methodologies that help shape those designs.

Introduce motion as a premier craft capability, establish Intuit-wide motion principles, and champion Lottie as the core motion platform for creating purposeful, delightful, and responsive motion in our products.
16 apps use morphing and looping animations to help with perceived performance while the app loads, helping reduce FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt).
I partnered with UX engineers and developers to adopt the Lottie animation framework across iOS, Android, and web. We replaced all MP4, GIF, and GSAP coded animations with responsive, interactive, and accessible Lottie motion.
Celebration animations bring joy and delight to our customers' big tax moments. Reduced motion options ensure animations are accessible and inclusive.
Illustrations in Photoshop (left) are not ideal for Lottie. I traced them in Illustrator (middle), and cleaned up vectors where possible (right) to make rigging and motion easier.
An amazing 100% Lottie adoption across all business units! We've also seen an uptick in PRS scores, with customers loving the new animations. We are also working on a new product that is completely driven by motion-first design.
